Board Breaking: The student is required to complete a two station break... one station will be a hand
technique and the other station a foot technique. It will be the students choice of technique for his/her board breaking. (Note: If the student decides to do a jump kick, no obstacle is required.

Pattern

Ready Position
(facing D)

1. Move the left foot to B forming a sitting stance while executing a left palm heel block 2. Execute a right middle punch 3. Execute a left middle punch. 2 & 3 should be performed in a fast motion

4. Form a right back stance toward A pivoting with the left foot, while executing a right square block toward A

5. Execute a left reverse upset punch 6. Form a long right back stance by sliding the right foot while executing a right middle side punch 7. Form a right walking stance by sliding the right foot back to the left foot (right foot should remain pointed toward A) while executing a right overhead knifehand strike

8. Move the left foot to A forming a left front stance while executing a left middle punch

9. Move the left foot to D forming a left front stance while executing a left low block 10. Move the right foot to D forming a right front stance while executing a right middle punch 10A. Place left palm on right fist and pull the left foot to the right foot turning to face F

11. Execute a right side kick to D

12. With the left leg retracted from move 11 execute a right knifehand strike landing in a right back stance to D 13. Move the left foot to D forming a left front stance while executing a left middle punch 14. Move the left foot to D forming a right front stance while executing a right middle punch

15. Move the left foot to E turning 270 degrees counter-clockwise forming a left back stance while executing a left double knifehand block

16. Move the right foot to E forming a right front stance while executing a middle right spearhand strike 17. Move the right foot on the EF line forming a left back stance to F while executing a left double knifehand strike 18. Execute a high right turning round kick and lower the foot to F

19. Execute a high left round kick

20. With the leg retracted from move 19 execute a left double knifehand block to F forming a left back stance 21. Move the left foot to C forming a left front stance while executing a left low block 22. Pull the left foot forming a left back stance and execute a right reverse middle punch

23. Move the right foot to C forming a right back stance and execute a left reverse middle punch

24. Move the left foot to C forming a left back stance and execute a right reverse middle punch 25. Move the left foot to C forming a left front stance while executing a low X-Block 26. Jump turning 180 degrees in a counter-clockwise motion landing in a left back stance while executing a right back vertical elbow strike to C

27. Bring the left foot to the right foot turning counter-clockwise 180 degrees to B forming a closed stance while executing a left low block and a right inner forearm block at the same time

28. Execute a right low block and a left inner forearm block at the same time 29. Move the left foot to B forming a left back stance while executing a left double knifehand block 30. Bring the left foot to the right foot and then move the right foot to A forming a right back stance while executing a double knifehand block


Bring the right foot back to ready position
