The attackers right foot steps forward with a sweeping motion of the knife (face level) from right to left and back again, landing in a left back stance - defender evades the first sweep of the knife by leaning back  As the knife comes back the defenders left foot steps inward to a 45 degree angle blocking with a reverse double knifehand block

 

Defender executes an elbow break by grabbing the attackers wrist with the right hand and striking the elbow with a left palm heel strike The defender moves the right foot 180 degrees clockwise and execute a right spinning knifehand strike to the attackers neck

 

Defender executes a right leverage sidekick to the attackers knee Defender executes a right ax kick toward the back of the attackers head

Safety Note:    The elbow, wrist, shoulder locks and leverage kicks are controlled techniques
                        applies with gradual pressure until the compromising opponent taps out. It is
                        vital to restrict excessive speed upon application for testing students and
                        instructors; however, brute force may be demonstrated by the instructor to show
                        permanent immobilization of the limbs for a classroom effect.
