Form Name: Yoo-Shin + extra form  (pronounced : Yu Shin)
Yoo Shin is named after Kim Yoo Shin, the greatest General in the Silla Dynasty who was instrumental in uniting the three kingdoms of Korea.
Theme – no fear of the dark and greater respect for the light. A black belt stands tall among the forest and shelters the weak for posterity and prosperity.

Sparring: 2-3 Times

Board Breaking: The Black Belt may do either a three station break or a two station break.
A three station break would be a hand technique, a right foot kick and a left foot kick. A two
station break would be a hand technique and a jump kick. Jump kicks would include, but are not
limited to, jump spin sidekick, jump ax kick (face level), jump roundkick (face level), jump frontkick (one hand high above head) or jump sidekick over two obstacles.

Pattern

Ready Position
(facing D)

1. Hop to the left, moving the left foot to B forming a sitting stance while executing twin elbow strikes 2. Hop to the right while remaining in the sitting stance while executing a left horizontal punch over the right shoulder and a right vertical back elbow strike - perform in fast motion

3. Hop to the left while remaining in the sitting stance while executing a right horizontal punch over the left shoulder and a left vertical back elbow strike - perform in fast motion

4. Keeping the feet in the same position shift to a left front stance, executing a middle hooking block to D with the right palm while raising slightly 5. Keeping the feet in the same position shift to a middle stance and execute a middle punch with the left fist. Perform 4 & 5 in a continuous motion

6. Keeping the feet in the same position shift to a right front stance, executing a middle hooking block to D with the left palm while raising slightly

7. Keeping the feet in the same position shift to a middle stance and execute a middle punch with the right fist while forming a sitting stance. Perform 6 & 7 in a continuous motion 8. Move the left foot to the CF line forming a left front stance while executing a left outer forearm block along the CF line.

9. Remain in the front stance along the CF line and execute a right reverse inner forearm block to the CE line

10. Keeping the feet in the same position execute a left upset palm block while pivoting to a sitting stance to the CE line 11. Execute a right middle punch to the CE line

12. Bring the left foot to the right foot then move the right foot to the CE line forming a right front stance while executing a right outer forearm block along the CE line

13. Remain in the front stance along the CE line and execute a left reverse inner forearm block to the CF line 14. Keeping the feet in the same position execute a right upset palm block while pivoting to a sitting stance to the CF line

15. Execute a left middle punch - perform 14 & 15 in a continuous motion

16.  Keeping the feet in the same position shift to a left front stance, executing a middle hooking block to D with the right palm while raising slightly 17. Keeping the feet in the same position shift to a middle stance and execute a middle punch with the left fist.

18. Keeping the feet in the same position shift to a right front stance, executing a middle hooking block to D with the left palm while raising slightly

19. Keeping the feet in the same position shift to a middle stance and execute a middle punch with the right fist while forming a sitting stance. Perform 16 & 17 & 18 & 19 in a continuous motion 20. Move the right foot back to C forming a left front stance along the CD line while executing a low X-block

21a. Execute a right high knifehand X-block. 

21b. Close the right hand to make a fist and rotate the hands such that the left hand is palm-down on top of the right wrist. Perform 20 & 21 in a continuous motion 22. Execute a right reverse middle punch with the left palm atop the right forearm 23. Execute a right front kick with the hands as they were in 22


24. Lower the right foot to D forming a right front stance while executing a left reverse middle punch 25. Execute a low X-block 26a. Execute a left high knifehand X-block 

   

26b.Close the left hand to make a fist and rotate the hands such that the right hand is palm-down on top of the left wrist - perform 25 & 26 in a continuous motion

27. Execute a left reverse middle punch with the right hand on top of the left forearm

28. Execute a left front kick keeping the hands as they were in 27

29. Lower the left foot to D forming a left front stance while executing a right reverse middle punch

30. Move the right foot forward to D forming a right back stance while executing a right double knifehand block

31. Move the left foot forward to D forming a left back stance while executing a left double knifehand block

32. Move the left foot backward to C forming a right back stance while executing a right double knifehand block

33. Move the right foot backward to C forming a left back stance while executing a left double knifehand block

34. Move the right foot forward to D forming a right front stance while executing a right double inner forearm block

35. Drop the right hand and raise the left hand to chamber, then execute a right inner forearm block and a left low block -  perform in a fast motion

36. Move the left foot forward to D forming a left front stance while executing a left double inner forearm block

37. Drop the left hand and raise the right hand to chamber, then execute a left inner forearm block and a right low block -  perform in a fast motion

38. Move the right foot forward to D forming a right front stance while executing a right middle punch

39. Move the left foot towards C on the CD line forming a left back stance  while executing a left ridgehand block

40. Bring the right foot to the left foot to form a closed stance toward C, while executing a tension move to ready position C

41. Move the right foot toward B forming a right front stance along the BD line, while executing twin upset punches

42. Move the right foot back to the left foot at D. Then move the left foot toward A forming a left front stance along the AD line, while executing twin upset punches

43. Bring the left foot to the right foot and then move the right foot to F forming a right back stance while executing a right inner forearm block.  44. Execute a left reverse 90 degree horizontal punch across the chest 

45. Still at D facing C, bring the left foot to the right foot forming a closed stance toward C while executing a right reverse tension horizontal punch across the chest

46. Move the left foot toward E forming a left back stance while executing a left inner forearm block 47. Execute a right reverse horizontal punch across the chest

48. Still at D facing C, bring the right foot to the left foot forming a closed stance toward C while execution a left reverse tension horizontal punch across the chest

49. Move the left foot to E forming a left back stance while executing a U shaped punch toward E 50. Bring the left foot to the right foot then move the right foot to F forming a right back stance while executing a U shaped punch toward F

51. From D facing C, with a stomping motion move the right foot to the CD line to form a sitting stance toward E while executing a right upset outer forearm block

52a. Execute a waving kick with the right foot by moving the right foot upward such that the bottom of the right foot contacts the inside of the left knee to avoid a sweep  52b....while executing a right  outer forearm block 53a. Execute a waving kick with the left foot by moving the left foot upward such that the bottom of the left foot contacts the inside of the right knee to avoid a sweep 

53b.....while executing a right  outer forearm middle block to D

54. Execute a right backhand strike to C while forming a right back stance

55. Execute a left inner cresent kick into the right palm 56. Execute a left sidekick - perform 55 & 56 in a continuous motion

57.  Execute a left backhand strike to C while forming a left back stance

58. Execute a right inner cresent kick into the left palm 59. Execute a right sidekick - perform 58 & 59 in a continuous motion

60. Lower the right foot to C facing A forming a sitting stance while executing a right 9-block

61. Execute a left 9-block 62. Move the left foot to C turning clockwise to form a sitting stance toward B while executing a right 9-block

63. Execute a left 9-block

64. Move the left foot to D forming a closed stance while executing a right side overhead hammerfist - kihap! 65. Move the left foot to B forming a left front stance while executing twin high punches to B

66. Pivot 180 degrees on the left foot, setting the right foot down
down behind to form a left front stance while executing twin high punches to A

67. Bring the right foot to the left foot and then move the left foot to the CF line forming a left back stance while executing a left double knifehand block 68. Bring the left foot to the right foot and then move the right foot to the CE line forming a right back stance while executing a right double knifehand block
